About Le Mas Sous Les Étoiles.
It must be said that this house is for the slightly adventurous and those who like seclusion. Access is via a single track mountain road for four miles from the main road (tarmac until the last kilometre) then a final ascent up an unmade road to the house.
Once there the the Gulf is spread out in front of you, looking in a line over the medieval village of Grimaud, across Port Grimaud on the coast, and with St Tropez on the far side of the Gulf.
The house is 10 miles from St Tropez and under an hour from the famous St Tropez beaches (although allow longer in high season traffic). La Garde Freinet is the nearest village (about 4.5 milesaway) with a good range of shops, restaurants, art galleries and a twice weekly market.There is also horse riding available, through the vineyards near Grimaud village
Le Mas is built of traditional stone construction on a hillside terrace with an outstanding view out to the Gulf of St Tropez. The house is surrounded by a paved terrace, which includes the swimming pool, petanque pitch and a shaded pergola for outdoor dining.
Inside there is a bright and airy sitting room with an adjacent well laid out kitchen. Large double doors look out to the Gulf and there is a open stone staircase leading up to a mezzanine sitting area with a couple of arm chairs, TV / DVD player and a study room.
The three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, comprising a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a large second double bedroom and a twin bedded room. The large double bedroom and the twin bedded room share the shower room and loo.
The house is arranged for 6 people. Pets are welcome by arrangement.
A welcome pack comprising wine, bread, ham, cheese will be provided for your arrival.

Yes broadband / wifi is available, login details will be provided with your booking confirmation
Water is provided from the mains water supply, not from a well, so is safe to drink however if you wish you can purchase bottled water as well.

You will receive a code for the keybox for self access with your booking confirmation. Departure time is by 1100 and arrival time not before 1530
You will receive detailed directions with your booking confirmation along with general information; beaches, restaurants, supermarkets etc.
Yes the pool is cleaned on a weekly basis and the plants watered. There is also a skim net provided for your own use. Please feel free to water the plants if you wish to. Any significant problems with the pool refer to our Local Agent.
The house will be cleaned for your arrival, for additional cleaning and change of bed linen or towels please contact our Local Agent and arrange directly with him.
Yes there is a clothes washing machine located in the utility shed outside, alternatively there are laundry facilities at a shopping centre.
Le Mas accommodates six people across three bedrooms, it is not designed to accommodate more, due to the facilities available.
